Description

The model of anomalous processes of transition in tokamaks based on high nonlinear oscillations of the drift type is studied analytically. The analysis carried out has shown that in charges of high density it is possible to form autooscillations affecting essentially on the energy life-time of plasma (τE). The condition of occurrence of high autooscillations corresponding functionally and numerically to the Murakami criterion of occurrence of failure in the tokamak is obtained. In accordance with the experiment, when including the source of additional heating, the τE dependence on the plasma parameter changes according to the L-mode scaling: τE∼nIpQ-0,6, where Ip is the plasma current, Q -the plasma heating power, n -the plasma density. The model used allows as well to describe the τE increase observed experimentally when passing to the H-mode
