Description
This report is consideration of a necessary reprocessing process for the proper form and this system construction from LWR to FBR of the nuclear fuel cycle system at the transition period. In the reprocessing technology at the transition period, the next generation reprocessing technology to which development is advanced for FBR cycle practical use is applicable. However, it is necessary to pay attention to the quality of the reprocessing product that can be supplied to LWR, ALWR, and FBR noting the proliferation resistance in the construction of this cycle system. It proposed that the advanced aqueous reprocessing technology was a technology suitable to achieve this system construction at the early stage, and the future and gradual progress improvements be also possible.
