On the role of tocopherol (vitamin E) in the additional harmful action produced by postirradiation hyperoxia

Description
A possibility of blocking by α- tocopherol acetate an additional harmful action of the postirradiation hyperoxia has been shown on animals given 800-1400 rads of a whole-body irradiation. A comparative analysis of radioprotective and therapeutic actions of vitamin E has been pursued
