A digital radiographic device for medical diagnosis

Low-dose digital (nonfilm) roentgenographic device (SDRD) Siberia, intended, for a wide range of roentgenological examinations on patients by doses reduced by 30-100 times as compared to traditional screen-film systems, is described. The device includes standard roentgen emitters, roentgen radiation detector (multiwire proportional chamber) and recording and controlling system. Economy of expenditures by application of the above systems equals approximately 15 thousand dollars per year by load of 20 patients per day. 6 refs., 3 figs
