Occupational monitoring data applied to operations carried out with uranium and thorium ore and other compounds

Description

Data treatment of radiological monitoring has the aim of reducing workers exposure, through a more rapid and effective control of work condition. The measurements are obtained through individual and area monitoring. Besides the collected data other inputs such as radioactive material leakage and interruption of processing are recorded. The measured values are compared to reference levels. The main estimate parameter is the annual equivalent dose. Statistical analysis are applied to those parameters to verify the values.
