Production cross sections of some micro and millisecond isomers with 14.8 MeV neutrons
Description
The formation cross sections for the isomeric states in Mg, Al, Y, In, Hf, Tl, Pb, and Bi by the (n,p), (n,α), and (n,2n) reactions have been measured using the cyclic activation technique and a Ge(Li) detector. The half-lives of the induced isomeric activities were determined using a wide range time-to-pulse height converter and a multichannel analyzer. 1 table, 1 figure
