Description

I report on recent measurements of parameters relevant in the electroweak Standard Model done with cold or ultracold neutrons. First the present status of neutron beta decay data will be discussed. Implications of these measurements for CVC, the unitarity of the KM matrix, SU(3) flavour symmetry, right-handed currents, solar physics and big bang cosmology will be investigated. Finally, I give a summary of neutron-electron and neutron-nucleon scattering experiments, both electromagnetic and weak, and their results on the neutron charge radius and on the neutron electric polarizibility
