Radiative corrections to the process #betta#N→#betta#X
Description
Within the framework of the Weinberg-Salam theory and the quark-parton model of strong interactions we find an estimate of the radiative corrections to the deep inelastic muon-less scattering process #betta#N→#betta#X. We have shown that taking account of the radiative corrections in the analysis of experimental data on the ratio R/sub() nunu-bar/ = sigma/sup N/C/sub() nunu-bar//sigma/sup C/C/sub() nunu-bar/ can lead to a reduction of the value of the parameter sin2theta/sub W/ by approx.5%
