The State Office for Nuclear Safety, Czech Republic (SUJB), as an institution engaged in the administration and supervision in the field of radiation protection annually saves several dozen cases of emergency relating to the use of ionizing radiation. This paper presents information about the spectrum of cases is investigated and the number of exceptional cases in the last five years.
