  • 1. Jilin Environmental Monitoring Central Station, Changchun (China)

Description

The authors reported the methods and results of investigation of natural radionuclides in soil in Jilin Province. The collecting points of soil are same as the measuring points of γ radiation dose rate of environmental ground. 478 soil samples were collected and analysed by radiochemical method. The results show that the area-weighted mean of 238U, 226Ra, 232Th and 40K was 25.2, 35.6, 47.9 and 699.9 Bq · kg-1, respectively. The point-weighted mean of 238U, 226Ra, 232Th, and 40K was 26.5, 37.1, 49.5 and 708.4 Bq · kg-1, respectively
