Evidence for charge exchange in the 4He(e,e'p)3H proton knockout reaction

We discuss a theoretical explanation of the breakdown of the (e,e'p) impulse approximation recently observed in 4He(e,e'p)3H data in terms of the interference of the two-step process - neutron knockout (e,e'n) followed by a charge exchange reaction (n,p) - with the direct (e,e'p) process. (orig.)
