A study of the control of density in the HL-1 tokamak

Description

Control of the plasma electron density in HL-1 has been attempted by using gas puffing for fueling, Ti-gettering and discharge cleaning for reducing recycling rate, and programming both gas puffing and plasma current waveform for suppressing the growing of the m/n = 2/1 mode during the density-rise phase. The operation regime of density for the HL-1 tokamak has been expanded
