Change of degree of dissociation of Asub(m)Bsub(n) compound along liquidus curve
Description
Two approaches to the evaluation of the degree of Asub(m)Bsub(n) compound dissociation along the liquidus curve in the binary A-B system are suggested. The first approach is based on the fact that the temperature dependence of the dissociation constant is found along the liquidus curvature in the melting point of Asub(m)Bsub(n) compound; the degree of Asub(m)Bsub(n) compound dissociation in the solution can be evaluated with the help of the temperature dependence of the dissociation constant. The approach applies the model of the ideal associated solution. The second approach is based on the method of the evaluation of the compound dissociation parameters and the constants, connected with interparticle interaction in a solution, on the base of the experimental data on the phase equilibria and thermodynamic properties, using the model of a regular associated solution. The calculation techniques suggested are used for the analysis of cadmium monoantimonide behaviour in the Cd-Sb system along the liquidus curve
