Quantitative resource evaluation of carbonaceous-siliceous argillaceous rock type uranium deposit in Diebu area, South Qinling

  • 1. CNNC Key Laboratory of Uranium Resource Exploration and Evaluation Technology, Beijing Research Institute of Uranium Geology, Beijing (China)

Description

By studying the typical uranium deposits in Diebu region of southern Qinling mountains, this paper systematically analyzed the geological conditions and features of the deposits, and defined the critical metallogenic factors and prediction elements. MapGis software was used to orientate each factor's spatial location and compiled the map of metallogenic and predict factors. MRAS software was applied to arrange the prognosis factors, select the best prognosis factors combination, compose prediction variables, and calculate the correlation between variables and uranium mineralization and the ore-forming favorability of the minimum unit, locate and optimize the best areas with human interpretation. The resource was quantitatively and semi-quantitatively estimated with the method of modified volume and Delphi, the target units was classified and valued. (authors)
