Estimates of the electron densities at the tellurium nucleus

Description

Preliminary results are reported of a study in which the Xα-SW method has been employed to deduce estimates of the electron densities at the tellurium nucleus in the compounds PbTe, ZnTe and TeF6. These estimates are of relevance to both the calibration of chemical isomer shifts of the 125Te compounds and the discussion of the chemical effects on the internal conversion in 125Te. (author)
