Colitis of Behcet's syndrome

Description
Three patients with Behcet's syndrome and colitis are described. The radiologic and histologic appearances of the colitis are discussed. The similarities of Behcet's colitis to Crohn's disease are outlined. The cases demonstrate the necessity to consider Behcet's syndrome in the differential diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease. Es wird ueber 3 Faelle von Behcets Syndrom und Colitis berichtet. Die radiologischen und histologischen Merkmale der Colitis werden diskutiert. Die Aehnlichkeit zwischen Behcets Colitis und dem Morbus Crohn werden unterstrichen. Die 3 Faelle zeigen, dass Behcets Syndrom bei der Differentialdiagnose von Darmentzuendungen stets beruecksichtigt werden sollte. (orig.)Additional details
