Hot and cold nuclear matter

  • 1. Post Graduate Dept. of Physics, Sambalpur Univ., Sambalpur (India)

Description

Microscopic calculations of the equation of state of hot and cold nuclear matter is reported using a recently constructed density-dependent meson theoretic two-body M3Y effective interaction and the hot Thomas-Fermi model. The results of free energy per particle, entropy, chemical potential, pressure, incompressibility and velocity of sound are presented
