Calorimetric determining of mixing heat in ternary systems of Ga-Al-Gd, Ga-Ge-Sd and Ga-Si-Gd

Comparative analysis is performed for integral enthalpies of mixing in liquid alloys of ternary Ga-Al (Ge, Si)-Gd systems at 1760 K. The mixing heat values are determined both by experimental method of high temperature isoperibolic calorimetry and by calculation technique with the use of the surrounding atom model. The values obtained by both methods agree satisfactorily
