Methods of determining the inventory of a running reprocessing plant

The roughly 300 individual process variables (status information, analogue values, alarms and calculated values) are handed over to the independent graphic system for information processing and are stored on discs and tapes. The results are available here for further investigations on balances of fission material. (oriog./RB)
Abstract (German)
Die ungefaehr 300 individuellen Prozessvariablen (Statusinformationen, Analogwerte, Alarme und berechneten Groessen), werden einerseits dem eigenstaendigen Graphiksystem zur Informationsaufbereitung uebergeben sowie auf Platte und Band langfristig archiviert. Hier stehen die Ergebnisse fuer weitergehende Untersuchungen zur Spaltmaterialbilanzierung zur Verfuegung. Die Methode der Kurzzeitbilanzierung von spaltbarem Material bei laufender Anlage (Near-Real-Time-Material-Accountancy) wird in der WAK zur Bestimmung des U/Pu-Inventars routinemaessig eingesetzt. Trotz der noch bestehenden Unsicherheiten in Bezug auf die verlaessliche Safeguardsaussage ist diese Methode beim Entwurf fuer das Spaltmaterialueberwachungssystem der grossen Wiederaufbereitungsanlage Wackersdorf von Anfang an miteinbezogen worden. Die Bestimmung der Behaelterinventare im Purex-Prozess unter Einsatz des Prozessinformatiosystems PRODES wird detailliert beschrieben. (orig./RB)Additional details
