The ENEA's programs and activity on fuel cycle plant decommissioning
Description
At the European Nuclear Energy Agency (ENEA) decommissioning operations of the fuel cycle pilot plants started in 1990. Five main facilities are involved in the activities: the two reprocessing plants EUREX and ITREC, the uranium fuel fabrication plant IFEC, the mixed oxide fuel fabrication laboratory IPU, and the postirradiation examination hot cells OPEC-1
