Present state on energy demands and supplies and trends of coal industry in China

According to field investigations and their relating data surveys in China, production and demands of coal were forecast. For the coal demands and industry in China with a lot of problems on demand and supply sides of coal, some future large changes were presumed. In short term, demands of coal seem to also decrease, managemental condition of the coal industry in response to this, especially, national important coal mines, will surely be worse. And, in long term, decoalification and imports of petroleum and natural gas due to environmental problem and industrial structure change will surely increase. Therefore, China must be controlled application of coal if such condition continues. Chinese dependence on energy imported from over sea will surely expand. (G.K.)
