Description
Estimate the neutron dose rates from 5Ci Am-Be isotropic point source, surrounded by paraffin cylinder of diameter 90cm and length 92cm. Compute the neutron dose rates at different radial positions from the center of the source. Experimental data is available for this problem. Neutron dose due to 5Ci Am-Be source, has been measured by BF3 based rem meter at different radial distances from the source, shielded by paraffin tank (Howitzer system)
