Research of risk-informed method in application of design improvement for M310 nuclear power plant

Description

Taking the design optimization of low pressure safety injection function as an example, this paper introduces the application process and function of risk informed method in the design improvement of M310 nuclear power plant. In this paper, the software and hardware facilities of the H4 pipeline are improved by identifying the weak points and accident scenarios with more important risks and evaluating the design optimization scheme, and the low pressure safety injection function of the M310 nuclear power plant is optimized to reduce the risks existing in the original design. Although the improved design scheme has little effect on the design cost of nuclear power plant, it greatly improves the safety of nuclear power plant. The result shows that risk informed method can be adopted for design optimization of M310 nuclear power plant to improve safety and competitiveness of nuclear power market. (authors)
