Supercomputer simulation of CT
Creators
Description
CT accuracy is compromised by nonlinear phenomena that have not been addressed sufficiently analytically. A well-conceived simulation could allow all the processes involved in the CT imaging procedure to be analyzed. However, such simulations are extremely computationally intensive. The authors discuss how they are implementing a supercomputer simulation of the entire dual- energy CT procedure
