Description
The theoretical investigations which will accompany the HDR-blowdown experiments have started early October 1974. Main activities were: 1) contribution to the specification of the HDR internals; 2) establishing a work plan for the development of a coupled fluid and structural dynamics code system; 3) start of the implementation of fluid dynamic codes which may be used as a basis for future development; 4) formulation of a simplified shell model (membrane stresses) for structural analysis of the barrel. Abstract (German)
Die begleitenden theoretischen Arbeiten zum HDR-Versuchsprogramm wurden Anfang Oktober begonnen. Im Berichtszeitraum konzentrierten sich die Arbeiten auf: 1) Beteiligung an der Spezifikation fuer die HDR-Einbauten; 2) Planung der Entwicklungsarbeiten fuer die Erstellung gekoppelter fluid- und struktur-dynamischer Programme; 3) Beginn der Uebernahme geeigneter Fluiddynamikcodes, die als Ausgangsbasis dienen koennen; 4) Formulierung eines einfachen Schalenmodells (Membranspannungen) zur festigkeitsmaessigen Auslegung des Kernmantels.
