Connection between the Einstein-Maxwell equations and the self-duality equations for gauge fields
Description
An analysis is made of the possibility of the existence of a one-to-one correspondence between the Einstein-Maxwell equations and the self-duality equations for static axisymmetric SU(3) gauge fields in a gauge that reduces to the sigma-model representation on a noncompact symmetric space of the type AIII
