Europium complexing study by the method of intraresonator laser spectroscopy
Description
Existence of two equilibrium forms of europium complexes with edta anion is established by the method of intraresonator laser spectroscopy (IRLS). Dependences of optical densities of these complex compounds in the wide range of concentrations, pH and temperatures (278-294 K) are investigated; molar absorption coefficients are determined. Substitution reactions of europium ethylenediaminetetraacetates with gadolinium and ytterbium compounds are investigated, equilibrium constants of these processes are obtained. Possibilities and perspective of IRLS method for REE complexing study are shown
