Description
The study of the elastic scattering 24Mg+α from 5 to 25MeV incident energy has been continued. It is shown that the coupling between the ground state of 24Mg and the first excited state does not give rise to structures in the excitation function at 1790 c.m. On the contrary one can obtain a quantitative fit of the experimental structures by using an optical potential with an l dependent absorption coupled with an exchange effect. Six angular distributions have been measured on the top of these structures in order to determine the leading angular momentum at each energy. An analysis of these angular distributions in terms of Regge poles is in progress
Abstract (French)
On a continue l'etude de la diffusion elastique 24Mg+α de 5 a 25MeV d'energie incidente. On montre que le couplage entre l'etat fondamental et le 1er etat excite de 24Mg ne donne pas lieu a des structures dans la fonction d'excitation a 1790c.m. Au contraire on peut obtenir un accord quantitatif avec les structures experimentales en employant un potentiel optique avec un l dependant de l'absorption couple avec un effet d'echange. Six distributions angulaires ont ete mesurees au sommet de ces structures pour determiner le moment angulaire a chaque energie.
