Description
The dispersion of phonons propagating at room temperature in symmetry directions of CeDsub(2.72) has been measured by means of the inelastic neutron scattering technique. A sixth-neighbour Born-von Karman tensor force model describes satisfactorily the characteristic features of the experimental results. With respect to the set of force constants derived in a similar study on CeDsub(2.12), the Ce-Ce interactions are significantly modified by the presence of additional deuteriums. (author)
