Study of Pipeline material monitoring system for special test

Description
The special test consists of 2 sets independent and related testing system, so the monitoring system needs to meet requirements of the 2 sets testing system, and automatic control and real-time calculation of the sampling process in the test. This paper introduces the three layers structure of the monitoring system which is designed on basis of LS platform, and the three lays of this system includes field stations, redundant server, and clients. XG5000 is used for data acquisition and logic control programming, and Infou is used for human-machine interface configuration programming in monitoring system. This paper describes in details implementation of communications between SIEMENS PLC and LS platform using Ethernet communication technology, and implementation of data communication between power analyzer WT330 and LS platform using VB programming technology. Adopts PLC and script programming to achieve real-time reporting and uses PLC programming to realize automatic sampling control and real-time calculation of sampling volume. This monitoring system has been used in special test, and the results show that the monitoring system is capable of real-time monitoring of various parameters during the test, chain controlling of valves and real-time calculation of sampling, and it meets the needs of the test running.
