Description
The concept of high conversion LWRs is being assessed by the Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute. Work to date has pointed to the need for improved core physics data and analysis methods. The HCLWR design concepts so far proposed are outlined, and the status of R and D to date is discussed. (author)
