A measurement method for electron beam energy of industrial electron accelerators

Description

Cover glass was used to measure the electron range and energy. the experimental study was done at Shanghai Standard Dosimetry Laboratory. Then the electron beam energy of three industrial electron accelerators for radiation processing was measured. R.D. Evans equation was chosen among several empirical equations for the energy measurement. The results show a linear range-energy relationship that is applicable from 1 to 3 MeV, with +-10% accuracy
