Unsteady flow of steam-fluid mixture in a heated channel

Description

Steam-fluid flow mathematical model, describing basic regimes of flow in a heated tube under steady and unsteady conditions is presented. Numeric calculations are performed. Multiple experiments on determining the time up to the convective heat transfer crisis occurance in tubes with different lengths and diameters are processed. It is shown, that the film inertia does not strongly effect the flow parameters in the annular dispersed flow regime. The change of flow rate at the tube inlet is investigated under the heat release increase for the constant pressure differential
