Torness system offers data-processing and auto control

Description
A huge software development effort and the use of the latest technology has resulted in the Torness AGRs in Scotland being equipped with what is claimed to be the most comprehensive computer system ever employed in a nuclear power station. The total number of plant signals feeding into the computer systems exceeds 45,000 digitals and 22,000 analogs. Operator facilities include high quality full graphic colour raster scan displays with pan, zoom and declutter features. (U.K.)
