Results of the 10 th European conference on the controlled fusion and plasma physics

The results of inVestigations into controlled thermonuclear fusion (CTF) presented at the 10th conference on CTF and plasma physics are briefly reViewed. The conference took place in September 14-19, 1981 in Moscow. 8 of 20 reviews were made by foreign scientists and 114 original reports of 239 were made. More than 1/3 of the reports dealt with investigation into plasma confinement and heating in the tokamaks. The reports outlined the results of experiments performed at 11 Soviet and 13 foreign plants (DITE and TOSCA-Great Britain; FT-Italy; PDX, ISX-B and DOUBLET-3-USA; FT-2 and TRIAM-1-Japan; TCA-Switzerland, MT-1-Hungary; TM1-HF-Czechoslovakia; RINGBOOD-2 and TORTUR-2-Holland).
