Optical absorption and luminescence induced by nanosecond electron beam in α-Al2O3 and ruby
Description
To study uknown mechanisms of radiation defect formation for α-Al2O3 and ruby, and considerable short-lived optical absorption is induced by electron pulses. Spectral and kinetic characteristics of the absorption and luminescence have been determined, and their possible mechanism are discussed
