Applied aspects of high-fluence ion implantation of metals
Description
The main results of recent works on effect of ion implantation on tribological and fatigue properties of metals have been reviewed. The effects determining technological prospects of high-fluence ion implantation are examined. The main attention was paid to the implantation of Fe, Ti and its alloys by light ions (B, C, N) as well as combined (dual) implantation
