Dielectric properties of RbCl single crystals
Description
In order to study space charge phenomena, the dielectric properties of virgin and quenched RbCl single crystals subjected to γ-irradiation have been measured. The dielectric constants and loss values were determined in the frequency range 103 to 105 Hz and in the temperature region 23 to 320 0C. Results show that it may be possible to assign the increase of 0.19 and 0.22 in K values at room temperature to the F centers in γ-irradiated 'as cleaved' and 'quenched' RbCl crystals, respectively
