Fusion measurements on the 35,37Cl + 89Y systems at sub barrier energies

Description

A comparison of fusion cross section data measured for both the systems shows that fusion cross section for 37Cl + 89Y persists down at below barrier energies compared to 35Cl + 89Y system but when the bombarding energy reaches the threshold, there is noticeable increase in the fusion cross section for 37Cl + 89Y system
