Correlations of secondary protons in p20Ne interactions at 300 GeV/c

Description

Data on observation of two-proton correlations in P20Ne interactions at 300 GeV/c are presented. It is found that correlations between secondary protons are an increasing function of their momenta. This result confirmed also in π-12C interactions at 40 GeV/c is an indication that the rms radius of the proton emission source for energetic protons is significantly smaller than the radius of target nucleus. Data on the study of the shape of the proton emission source as well as results of the study of associated multiplicities and three-proton correlations are presented
