Contrasting views or staff exchanges between ASN and its foreign counterparts

This article proposes interviews of members of the British, French, Spanish and American nuclear safety authorities who, within the frame of a staff exchange experience, are, for three of them, working for the French Nuclear Safety Authority (ASN), and, for the last one, working for the Spanish authority. They explain why they decided to have this professional experience, comment their adaptation and integration, what particularly surprised them in the organisation and practices of the host authority, how they may apply to their home authority what they learnt from this experience, the value of these international exchanges with respect to the European construction on nuclear safety and radioprotection
