Nonmonotonous character of creep in LiF crystals with various Mg contents
- 1. Fiziko-Tekhnicheskij Inst. im. A. F. Ioffe Rossijskoj Akademii Nauk, Sankt-Peterburg (Russian Federation)
Description
Precise measurement of creep rate in LiF crystals with Mg content from 0.002 to 0.03 wt. % according to interferometry recording has shown that at the background of total creep damping nonmonotonies in the form of sequential sections with relatively high and low creep rates appear periodically. It is supposed that nonmonotonous character of creep is connected with the material inhomogeneity structure which is defined by the counter of impurities and inhomogeneity of the deformation process itself
Abstract (Russian)
Additional details
