Dependence of high critical temperature of ceramic superconductors on the nominal Cu3+/Cu2+ ratio
Description
The dependence of the superconducting-insulating transition (Tc) and the insulator-metal transition (T-tildec) on the nominal ratio τ of Cu3+/Cu2+ has been estimated. This ratio τ ≡ τ(δ), seems to guide the Tc by exhibiting a broad maximum, where the hole density δ has been formulated as a function of the doping-x and the oxygen deficiency-y. An agreement with the experimental results has been found. (author). 19 refs, 1 tab
