- 1. Japan Atomic Energy Research Inst., Tokai, Ibaraki. Tokai Research Establishment
Description
The glass apparatuses and components used for chemical processing of radioisotopes and production of processed radioisotopes in a lead cell and a glove box are described, with emphasis on the characteristics and the cautions in making. These apparatuses used or tested in the past 15 years are over 1,000 in number. They are classified in dissolution, precipitation (or crystallization)-filtration, distillation (or volatilization), evaporation, ion exchange, solvent extraction, titration-measurement of acidity, volume measurement, condensation, traps and product storage bottles.
