Recalculations of HDR test T31.5 analyses with contain version 1.1

This document presents the results of recalculations of the ISP-23 analysis and the additional hydrogen benchmark analysis. Both analyses were based on test T31.5 as performed in the HDR test facility in Germany. ECN participated in these analyses in the period 1988-1989. The new analyses have been performed to gain a better insight on how to model complex volume containment geometries with the CONTAIN computer program. Two recalculations have been performed: 1. a recalculation with a modified version of the 14 cell input model as has been used in the original calculation; 2. a recalculation with a more detailed input model.
