An investigation on the electron and ion property of the laser produced plasma under additional static electricity field

Description
The time-evolved function of the electric current signal is derived from the Maxwell-Boltzmann distribution of ion velocity in the local thermal equilibrium plasma, and by fitting the experimental data the ion temperature is obtained. The relation of the electric current signal to the additional voltage is also investigated, and the experimental results show that the signal intensity increases nonlinearly with the additional voltage and also the buffer gas and the sample properties seriously influence the signal intensity
