Charge exchange neutral particle mass and energy analyzer for JT-60
- 1. Toshiba Corp.
Description
A charge exchange neutral particle mass and energy analyzer for JT-60, which analyzes H, D and He simultaneously up to the maximum energy 110 (keV), has been developed. The analyzer has 180 degree deflection magnet for momentum analysis and electrostatic deflector for mass analysis separately. In normal operation the magnetic field is 0.303 (Tesla) and the electric field is 1.65 x 105 (V/m). MCPs as detectors can be set up to 32 channels for each ion species
