Binding of 131I to rhodium (III) complexes: model studies on attaching 211At to metal complexes

  • 1. Dept. of Radiochemistry, Institute of Nuclear Chemistry and Technology, Dorodna 16, Warszawa (Poland)

Description

In this short note, model studies on attaching iodide to rhodium (III) complex is presented. Due to similarity of I- with At- anions the radionuclide 131I was used as a model of 211At in the studies of formation halogen-rhodium complexes. Solid tumors have been successfully treated with β emitters including 131I
