Doctor Sloerdahl's case
Description
This is a case involving liability for damaged caused by medical x-ray treatment. In this case the defendant had admitted in having committed a fault, so that the court ruled that the defendant should pay compensation to the plaintiff. The possibility of such a claim in Indonesia could well be based on article 1365 of the Civil Code. Although it happens rarely, yet there is no certainty that no lawsuits would be made. (author)
