Chlorination and thermosublimatography as auxiliary methods in the X-ray fluorescence analysis of geological samples
Description
Chlorination of the samples of laterites and iron-manganese nodules and the depostion of volatile products in columns with temperature gradient allow one to separate Mn, Co, Ni, Pb, Cu, Fe, Zn, Zr and other components in groups. The developed method may be used in combination with X-ray fluorescence analysis for highly sensitive determination of Ni in laterite samples. The thermosublimatograms of chlorides indicate the practicability of processing of laterite are and iron-manganese nodules by chlorination
